It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the passing of an long time Friend and Mason. -  From Bob Cleary.

has passed to the
Grand Lodge Above
 
“we cherish his memory in our hearts”
 
Our Brother Albert passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 14th., 2013.
Albert was a very proud Veteran of WWII and served Overseas with
the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Gunner/Photographer on a Lancaster Bomber.
 
W. Bro. Al Brewer was the Chaplain of Alexandria Lodge and had faithfully served Eastern District
as our District Chaplain and Co-Pilot in support of and along side his good friend
R. W. Bro. Bill Shields, District Deputy Grand Master in 2000.
 
A Masonic Memorial Service will be help for our Brother Albert
on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 12:30 pm in the
Munro & Morris Funeral Home 114 Main Street South, Alexandria.
 
Brethren are requested to gather for 12:00 noon
Regalia to be worn
 
Remember Albert and our Veterans well my brethren, for we shall not see their like again

The Family will receive visitors at the Munro & Morris Funeral Home in Alexandria
on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:30 pm followed by the Funeral Service
at the Alexandria United Church, 36 Kincardin St. East at 4:00 pm
 
As always brethren, let us keep Albert, his wife Agnes, his son Albert Jr. and daughter Marilyn
in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.  Albert was also predeceased by a son Edward.
